Description

Oregano is a resilient herb that grows back every year and has fragrant leaves that can be used fresh or dried to add flavor to a variety of dishes including moussaka, stews, sausages, omelettes, stuffings, pizzas, and Italian cuisine. You can also sprinkle oregano on lamb or pork before cooking for added flavor. In the summer and autumn, the flowers produced by the plant can be dried and used for flavoring as well. Oregano grows to a height of 30-45cm (12-18in). It is recommended to plant oregano among broccoli to repel the Cabbage Butterfly.
